Today is the day for webmasters and site owners who have been celebrating the Google PR update that happened in this early afternoon, i.e., on the 6th<\/sup> of December 2013<\/strong>. It was really a quite awaited and is arousing hot discussions in the webmaster world now!!<\/p>\n

Basically Page Rank (PR) update is an official update of Google Toolbar providing a score for every page of a website which means a lot to the SEO world. It is considered to be the mathematical analysis of web pages based on the backlinks that are obtained from other web pages. PR is scaled from 0 to 10 depending on certain factors that were usually hidden.<\/p>\n

Finally, Google has revealed the Page Rank update after a long of 10 months<\/strong> or so.<\/p>\n

The Google\u2019s web spam team\u2019s head, Matt Cutts has answered in one of his recent tweets that \u201cWill there be a PR update before 2014?\u201d<\/p>\n

Due to this tweet people have started murmuring \u201cThere will be no more Google PR updates in 2013\u201d, \u201cGoogle PR is dead\u201d and more arguments have been noticed in the past few months.<\/p>\n

But the highly anticipated PR update is on air now!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Usually Google Page Rank update happens every 3 to 5 months after the previous one, but this after it was delayed for a period of 9 to 10 months!<\/p>\n

The previous PR updated was occurred on the 4th<\/sup> of Feb 2013<\/strong> and this new update of Google was the second of the year 2013. Hope this will be the last of 2013.<\/p>\n

Though it was a big disappointment over the past months, Today\u2019s update has broken the myths and consequences on the Google over the web master world. It was seemed to be a small relief from the ever-dangerous Penguin 2.1.<\/p>\n
