# More the Inbound Links, better the Ranking:

False! Google is constantly making sense of quality is more essential than quantity. Gone are the days where bulk of low-quality links drives up your website ranking; but now creating such kind of links will lead to spamming and chances are getting penalized. Try to focus on attaining links from the sites that are authoritative, relevant to your product or service.

# Page Rank still Matters:

Funny! Google’s Page Rank shows the overall authority of a site that is ranging from 0 – 10, the bigger the number higher is the rank and authority. In the past, this was a powerful weapon is gaining huge website traffic and ranking! Having a paid link with no relevancy is no more valuable. In fact, Google has stopped updating the Page Rank since past few months and is focusing on other factors to measure authority!

# Good SEO is all about trickery:

Not at all! Although there are few webmasters who go about tricking the search engines to get their business, it all leads to adverse effects. It is absolutely not the way to have a long lasting SEO.

Good SEO is all about creating a relevant and informative website that engages the visitors with unique content. Providing content that is sharable is very essential.
